Colleges and University in the state of Mizoram are set to open from March 1 with certain Covid-19 guidelines.

The schools and colleges in Mizoram were shut down in March 2020 due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country and the nationwide lockdown imposed by the central government for the safety of the citizens.

All colleges and universities in the state have also been asked to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the state government while reopening the premises for students and staff.

Seating arrangements of the classrooms will be changed to ensure proper social distancing between students. Frequent washing and sanitisation of hands will be made mandatory for all the students in colleges and universities once physical classes commence.
