Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan Awards announced, India-Bharti Award to Dr. Suryabala of Mumbai

Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan’s 2019 honors /awards were announced. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Dr. Sadanand Prasad Gupta, acting president of Hindi Sansthan. The prestigious Bharat Bharti Award of five lakh rupees in 2019 will be given to Dr. Suryabala of Mumbai.

Four lakh rupees Lohia Sahitya Samman will be given to Dayanand Pandey of Lucknow. A Hindi Pride Award of four lakh rupees will be given to Tarun Vijay of Delhi.  Dr. Rameshwar Prasad Mishra ‘Pankaj’ of Bhopal will receive the Mahatma Gandhi Literature Award of four lakh rupees.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Sahitya Samman of four lakhs will be given to Dr. Suryakant Bali of Delhi. Avantibai Sahitya Samman of four lakh rupees will be received by Dr. Kapil Tiwari of Bhopal. A Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon Award of four lakh rupees will be given to Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Wardha.

Besides, 61 writers have been picked up for awards for their publications in 2019. Prof Mukul Srivastava, head of Lucknow University’s mass communication and journalism department, will be conferred with Nirmal Verma Puruskar under the travelogue book category.
