The United States will announce a fresh military aid package of roughly around $400 million which is primarily comprise of ammunition on Friday.
According to the sources, the package, is expected to contain more Guided Multiple Launch Rockets (GMLRS) for HIMARS launchers, ammunition for the Bradley Fighting Vehicles, as well as armored vehicle launched bridges.
The equipment will be provided using fund under Presidential Drawdown Authority, in which the president can authorize the transfer of articles and services from U.S. stocks without congressional approval in response to an emergency.
