New Delhi: After the injury in World Cup 2019, Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out and from there on the Dhawan did not have an ideal go in his form. He has suffered in the West Indies tour and not been able to perform till now in the series. His scored have been 1, 23 and 3 in the T20 series whereas 3 run in the second ODI against the West Indies.

Shikhar Dhawan who was ruled out of the CWC after he hit a century will look to gain his form back and end the series on a good note. He has trouble getting out on the incoming pace towards his leg and got out of the balls of Sheldon Cottrell. Since Dhawan won’t be a part of the upcoming Test Series, he would like to get himself some runs on the board.

There is a tremendous pressure on Rishabh Pant for his no. four spot as Shreyas Iyer performed well in the last match and Rishabh Pant is not able to get to the mark except for his 69 runs knock in the 2nd T20 against Windies. India will look to get a clean sweep in the ODI series as well after the 1st match getting washed out.

Sunil Gavaskar has preferred Iyer over Pant for the No. four spot. West Indies will also look to win a match in the series but for that the West Indies batting order should take more responsibility. India will play its 3rd ODI of this series today on 13th August.
