India shouldn’t take restraint as Weakness: Pakistan

United Nations: After the Central Government of India abolished Article 370 which gave a special status to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan is in shock state which it is not able to recover. After US and Russia supporting India, Shah Mehmood Qureshi is pleading UNSC (United Nation Security Council) for help to solve the issue.

Qureshi on Wednesday said that “India should not mistake our restraints to be Weakness”. However which also gives a clear indication that how confused Pakistan and its officials are in this time. They don’t know what to do, their economy is drowning, their so called “international friends” have denied help rather are supporting India, and Pakistan is in state of Major Shock.

In a letter to the UNSC, Qureshi said: “If India chooses to resort again to the use of force, Pakistan will be obliged to respond, in self defense, with all its capabilities.” He added that “in view of the dangerous implications” Pakistan requested the meeting. On Friday, China told Qureshi that it regarded both India and Pakistan as “friendly neighbours” and wants them to resolve the issue through UN resolutions and the Shimla Agreement.

Poland is president of the Security Council for August. Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz told reporters at the United Nations on Tuesday that the council had received a letter from Pakistan and “will discuss that issue and take a proper decision.” Poland has expressed hope “that both countries can work out a mutually beneficial solution bilaterally.” The Interesting fact is that Qureshi has accepted in front of its Media that Poland were not so pleased by their request so it’s likely that they will also support India in the Jammu and Kashmir matter.
