Lucknow Mayor donates Rs 51 lakh towards construction work of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya

Lucknow: City mayor Sanyukta Bhatia has donated a total sum of Rs 51 lakh for the construction work of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya. The check was handed over to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Chetra Nyas general secretary Champat Rai at her residence.

Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said, “I feel very privileged to be able to contribute a small amount for the construction work of Shri Ram ji Temple at Ayodhya.

Apart from Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, several local corporators of the city including Mamta Chowdhary, Ram Naresh, Mukesh Shukla, Nagendra Singh and Shailendra Singh among others have also contributed towards the construction work of magnificent Ram Temple.

Recently, mayor along with ten corporators of Lucknow during their visit to Ayodhya took blessings by going to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanuman Gadhi, Ram ki Paudi and Saryu Ghat.
The mayor and corporators were welcomed by Ayodhya mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay. City mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said, “We all are happy to seek blessings from Lord Rama today. Ayodhya not Agra will become main tourist spot in India once the temple is constructed.
Mayor also insisted each and every Hindu in the country to contribute minimum amount of money upto their financial standards for ensuring successful construction of grand Ram Temple.
Mayor was accompanied by LMC executive committee vice chairman Rajnish Gupta, corporator Ram Krishna Yadav, Amit Chaudhary, Samir Pal Singh, Rudra Pratap Singh, Rupali Gupta, Pradeep Shukla, Kaushlendra Dwivedi, Geeta Awasthi, Mithelesh Chauhan, Vijay Gupta and former mayor Suresh Awasthi.
