Keeping in mind this threat, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has created a contactless ‘Ultraviolet Sanitizer’ to sanitize mobile phones, laptops and notes to protect people from diseases like corona.

The full name of this sanitizer is ‘Defense Research Ultraviolet Sanitizer (DRUVS)’. The Ministry of Defense has given this information. The DRUVS system puts ultraviolet rays at 360 degrees on the things kept in the cabinet.

Once sanitized, the system automatically shuts down, so the operator does not have to wait or stand near the equipment.

The Ministry of Defense tweeted that it has been developed by DRDO’s Research Center building (RCI) and it works without being exposed which is very important to stop the spread of this virus.

From this, mobile phones, iPads, laptops, currency notes, checks, invoices, passbooks, paper, envelopes etc. can be sanitized.
