Additional Chief Secretary, Home Government of Uttar Pradesh, Home Awanish Awasthi gave important information about the return of migrant laborers. He informed that so far 2 lakh 81 thousand laborers have returned from 233 trains.
He has said that on Tuesday only 13 trains have entered the UP border with laborers. He said that more trains are coming now. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avneesh Awasthi said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the workers’ facilities should be taken full care of.
He said that CM’s order is to provide food grains to migrant workers, laborers, even if there is no ration card with any needy. It should be ensured that no one has problems with food or food grains.
He further said that the health of all the laborers is being investigated and after that they are being quarantined if needed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that the names, address, telephone of the migrant workers present at the Quarantine Center, Shelter Home And efficiency details should be collected.
He said that the skill mapping of the workers should be continued continuously, so that later they can be provided employment.
