Indian Army achieved great success, killed Lashkar Commander Haider

The army has achieved great success in Jammu and Kashmir. On Sunday, the army killed LeT commander Haider in an encounter with militants in Handwara, north Kashmir.

Haider was a resident of Pakistan. However, five soldiers including two senior officers have also been killed in this operation. In this encounter, CO 21-RR Colonel Ashutosh Sharma, Major Anuj Sood, Police Sub Inspector Shakeel Qazi, a Lance Nayak and a Rifleman were martyred. According to police, the encounter started at Chanji Mohalla in Handwara on Saturday afternoon. In the encounter, Lashkar commander ‘Haider’ is shot down.

IG Kumar of Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the Lashkar commander ‘Haider’ has been killed in the Handwara encounter. He said that Hyder, who had targeted five security forces personnel, was killed. One of the two slain terrorists is yet to be identified.
