All government offices will open in UP with all restrictions in 20:CM Yogi

Yogi Adityanath government has issued an order in this regard today. According to the instructions of Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, physical distancing will be completely followed during this period. From Monday,only 33% employees of Group A and B will come to the office along with the head of the department. Group C and D personnel can also be called with full care of safety standards if required.

Police, home guards, civil defense, firefighters along with health, disaster management, prisons and municipal bodies will carry out their work as soon as possible without any restrictions.

Apart from these, now all the office heads / department heads and all the officers of Group A and B will be present in the office from April 20. The roster will be decided after determining the requirement from the level of the top officer in his office to arrange to ensure the presence of up to 33 percent of the personnel of Group C and D, as necessary, on every working day in all offices. It has been suggested by the government to the top officials that they should make a roster of employees working in such a way that the workers come on the alternate day, but no work of the government is interrupted. Physical distancing along with other protective measures should be fully taken care of during the office hours.

According to the roster, all workers performing work from home will be in contact with the office with their mobile and electronic means. So that they can be called to office if needed. District administration should also employ personnel for treasury work during this period.

Along with this, the State Resident Commissioner Offices of Uttar Pradesh will also be opened with regard to Kovih-19 and restrictions on community kitchen operations. Forest Department personnel who are involved in the operation and management of the Zoological Park, in the wildlife forests, for fire prevention work and petrol and essential vehicle services will continue to perform their work. Separate decisions will be taken from the district administration level regarding the closure of offices in areas affected by the infection (hotspot areas). These guidelines will not be applicable to employees who are involved in such contingent and essential services and are playing a direct role in prevention of Covid-19.
