Inayat Khan DM in Bihar first female IAS officer by adopting daughters of martyred CRPF

Patna: The Collector from Bihar’s Sheikhpura district Inayat Khan showed biggest humanity recently after she adopted two daughters of martyred CRPF jawans who was killed in recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.

As we all know that whole country grapples with the loss of 40 CRPF personnel a great gesture was shown by a female IAS officer, Inayat Khan, in Bihar.

Inayat Khan who is the District Magistrate of Bihar’s Sheikhpura district has set an example by adopting the daughters of two of the martyred soldiers in the recent Pulwama attack, according to a report by leading English newspaper.

DM Inayat Khan shows humanity by adopting daughters of martyred CRPF Jawans:

 

Khan’s touching move is inspiring at a time like this. Sources state that she will fund the girls’ education while taking care of other expenses throughout their lives. She will be adopting one girl child each of CRPF personnel Ratan Kumar Thakur and Sanjay Kunar Sinha.

“I want to appeal to the people to contribute as much as you can so that we can stand by their families at a time when they need our support.”

“I have directed officials to open an account to raise funds for families of two victims. Whatever amount will be collected by March 10, we will divide and give it to their families. I want to appeal to the people to contribute as much as you can so that we can stand by their families at a time when they need our support,” Inayat told video news agency.

The Bihar cadre IAS officer has donated her two days salary to the families of the martyred jawans. And facilitated opening of bank account in Sheikhpura for people to donate money to help those in need.

“I have requested all government staff of my district to donate their one day’s salary to the families of the two martyrs,” she said. Khan is a Bihar cadre 2012 batch IAS officer.
