Lucknow: In a shocking incident, one man was shot dead allegedly by his friend for having a relationship with his sister despite the accused’s objection to it on Valentine’s Day in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur district, police said on Thursday.
The accused, Sanu, has been arrested with a country-made pistol following the incident which took place at a restaurant near a bus stand here Wednesday, they said, the entire incident was captured on CCTV camera of the restaurant.
Man becomes deceased for having affair with friend’s sister on Valentine’s Day:
According to the police, Dharmendra Singh (34) was a tenant at Sanu’s home a couple of years back and had an affair with his sister to which Sanu had raised objection.
15-year-old girl teenage girl gang-raped by four persons in Uttar Pradesh:
In another shocking as well as shameful incident, a teenage girl was allegedly abducted and raped by four persons in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Thursday.
The 15-year-old girl was abducted when she was returning home from the fields Tuesday evening in the Panwadi area of Mahoba, a police officer said.
The four allegedly raped the girl and fled. The girl managed to reach her home and informed her family members about the incident.
An FIR was registered against the accused — Pushpendra Rajput, Ankit, Kesh Kumar and Konia — on Wednesday.
The girl has been admitted to a hospital, where her condition was stated to be critical.
Efforts were on to arrest the accused, the police officer said.
