Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two youths at her residence in front of her minor brother in neighbouring Shamli district, police said today in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district.
The incident took place when two youths, identified as Umer Khan and Amanullah, yesterday barged into the woman’s house and gang-raped her after confining her minor brother, they said.

According to police, the parents of the girl were not present at the house when the incident took place.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by victim’s father, a case has been registered against the absconding accused, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab the culprits at the earliest.
In another shameful act, a teenage 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at gunpoint in Rahekda village in the district, police said here today.
The incident happened yesterday in a nearby jungle in the village and the accused Kallu has been arrested, said Station House Officer (SHO) B P Singh of Bhopa police station.
The victim was found in the jungle in semi-conscious state by the family members, he said.
According to the complaint of the victim’s uncle, a case has been registerd and the girl has been sent for medical examination, the SHO added.
