Lucknow: In a bid to promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyan the Uttar Pradesh government has installed first Garbage ATM with the name of Reverse vending machine in the state capital based 1090 crossing under Hazaratganj locality that will give you surprise return gift if you will dump useless products waist.
In this regards, now there is no need to throw empty bottles and other non-essential things here or their as Garbage ATM i.e. Reverse vending machine will help you to put your waist material by providing money when you put bottle and garbage things in it.
You guys must have surprised after hearing this news! If yes then we will tell you that in a first of its kind Reverse vending machines have been set up in Lucknow’s Hazratganj locality for disposal of garbage near 1090 crossing where one can put disposal plastic bottles, cans, wrappers and fruit peels in the machine.
Lucknow city gets it first Garbage ATM in form of Reverse vending machine:
The Urban Development Minister Suresh Khanna said that only two Garbage ATMs have been installed in two different places for now but later such kind of machines are going to be installed at 10 different places in the Lucknow city and in all the districts of UP as well.
The details of the state and central government plans will also be shown through the LED panel installed above ATMs and there is a firm has been allotted responsibility for recycling of these machines according to the nature of wastes.
The municipal corporation will pay rent for each machine at the rate of 6 thousand rupees per month in this regards. Such ATMs which are set up for disposal of garbage in UP’s capital will prove to be milestones in the direction of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
