Lucknow: Not like many other politician relatives Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath’s sister Sashi Devi is leading a simple life in Uttarakhand. Yes it’s true She is setting an example for relatives and friends of other politicians to not be affected by somebody’s power.
Shashi devi belongs to holy city Rishikesh, where she owns two flower shop near temples. In this shop CM Yogi sister use to sell flowers, tea, pakoras and prasad.
She revealed that Yogi Adityanath met her in February when he came to offer prayers at Rishikesh. Sashi is 6 years elder to Yogi and tells that he never talked illogical things. “He never fought with me and used to ask all the brothers and sisters to study hard,” says Sashi while spilling the beans.
CM Yogi Adityanath was the second born in the family, among four brothers and three sisters. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand.
He left his home around the 1990s to join the Ayodhya Ram temple movement. Adityanath renounced his family at the age of 21 and became a disciple of Mahant Avaidyanath, the then high priest of Gorakhnath Math.
