Lucknow: The Managing Director Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC), Shri Kumar Keshav today inspected ongoing construction work of underground metro stations.

 

 

During his visit, he was accompanied by Sri. Daljeet Singh (Director, Works and Infrastructure) and Sri. Mahendra Kumar (Director, Rolling Stock).

 

 

After the completion of the priority corridor, LMRC now set to move further, for which the construction work in the underground stations had already started.

 

 

After Charbagh Metro Stations (Elevated Section), the project for the underground metro stations has started, for which the construction two ramps are to be done on the either side of the underground station.

 

 

LMRC MD inspects underground subway stations from Charbagh to Hazaratganj:

 

These ramp sections were inspected by the Managing director and the officials of Lucknow Metro, who reviewed the imposition of the diaphragm wall in south casting corridor of Charbagh. In this ramp section, sixty diaphragm wall will be constructed which further merge to the first underground subway station (Hussainganj).

 

 

Then, the entire team move further to see the ongoing construction work for the second underground metro station (Secretariat). Where they review the construction works and gave necessary directions.

 

 

He also saw the last underground metro station (Hazratganj) of this section, which will again merge via ramp to the elevated section of KD Singh Metro station; where the first pillar of this section will be laid, which will be constructed from here to Munshipuliya.

 

 

In addition, parting work of TBM (Gomti) is also being done which will be completed in estimated 20 days. After this, parting of TBM (Ganga) will be started. In this section, the work of making pillars for the special span of Metro over Gomti River is also underway.
