Mumbai: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) is facing awkwardness because of a video from Maharashtra in which a BJP leader of the party’s Maharashtra unit can be seen allegedly kissing a woman in a moving bus. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The woman seen in the video has also registered a rape case against the concerned BJP leader Ravindra Bavanthade alleging that he raped her on the pretext of job and marriage.
In the purported video reportedly captured on the CCTV camera, a ruling BJP leader is seen in a compromising position with a woman and also forcing himself upon her in a moving bus in the presence of several passengers.
According to media reports, the shameful incident took place in Gadchiroli district of Chandrupar. Police have registered a case on the basis of lady’s allegations. The leader has been absconding since then and the police are trying to track him.
