New Delhi: A 15-year-old teenage girl was allegedly raped for over a week by her neighbour at gunpoint in Samaypur Badli, police said today.
The incident came to light yesterday after she fell ill and was taken to a hospital, they said.
She told her family that the accused had been raping her for over a week and threatened her with dire consequences if she informed anyone about it, a police official said.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused who is absconding along with his family members.
19-year-old woman raped by two persons in Delhi:
In another incident, a 19-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two persons, including a juvenile, in west Delhi’s Naraina.
The accused Kashif (20) and the victim were working as labourers at an under-construction building in Naraina.
Kashif and the juvenile took her to a place in Delhi Cantonment yesterday afternoon where they allegedly raped her, police said.
The woman approached the police following which both accused were nabbed.
Kashif was arrested today while the juvenile was apprehended yesterday, they added.
