Thiruvananthapuram: In a shocking incident, external sexual organ of a 54-year-old Swami was cut by a 23-year-old young girl in Kerala’s capital city, after she was subjected to sexual harassment for the past five years.
According to police, the incident came into limelight after Hari Swami of an ashram near Kollam was on Friday night brought to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital here around 12.40 a.m. with his genital severed almost 90 per cent.
A team of medical professionals conducted a plastic surgery on the Swami, and is now out of danger, a hospital statement said.
On other hand, girl said that the Swami was a frequent visitor to her home to conduct religious ceremonies and during the same he used to sexually harass her.

The girl claimed that she was under pressure by the Swami from when she was in class 12th, she said and after being unable to bear this excess, she had on Friday night slashed the Swami’s genital with a knife.
The Kerala police have registered a case against the Swami for sexually harassing the girl.
The Kerala State Women’s Commission member Prameela Devi, said she was proud of the girl for her bold act against the Swami.
Devi said, such an act by anyone especially when it comes under the guise of a religious tag, irrespective of the religion, is in no way acceptable, as such people should be role models to all.
The police on other side was confused on what legal proceedings needed to be taken against the girl.
