School Bag, stationery and umbrella given to 800 students by JKP

Mussoorie: As a part of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat’s (JKP) ongoing charitable activities, a distribution programme camp was organized today in Uttarakhand’s Mussoorie district.

During the camp around 800 students from 20 schools were each given a School Bag, 7 Notebooks, 4 Pens, 4 Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale, Water Bottle, Lunch Box and an Umbrella, along with a box of sweets.

 

 

These students who study in Government or Government-aided schools come from far flung areas of the state and were extremely happy to receive their gifts.

At least 50 teachers from these schools also received a Wall Clock and Blanket each, and 40 Bhojan Matas (ladies who cook lunch at school for students) also received a Blanket and Saari each.

Honourable Mr. Arvind Pandey (Minister for Primary Education and Sports, Government of Uttarakhand) and Mr. Ganesh Joshi (BJP MLA, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand) were both present at the distribution programme, along with JKP Presidents Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi, Sushri Dr Shyama Tripathi and Sushri Dr Krishna Tripathi. Mr. Arvind Pandey and Mr Ganesh Joshi both gave a motivational speech to the students to encourage them to take their education seriously and reminded them that they are the future of this nation.

 

 

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), previously known as Sadhna Bhawan Trust, was established in 1970 by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and continues to run today in the leadership of the three Presidents. JKP is a non-profit, charitable, educational and spiritual organisation.

These two organistation is dedicated to increasing spiritual awareness and works tirelessly to disseminate the teachings of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. JKP is also equally active in organising various charitable projects and activities. Hundreds of thousands have benefitted from Shri Maharaj Ji’s benevolance.

 

 

With the inspiration and guidance of Shri Maharaj Ji, JKP has established three fully charitable hospitals, Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya-Mangarh, Barsana and Vrindavan.

These hospitals have provided free medical care to over 2.5 million patients who come from some of the poorest parts of India and were otherwise deprived of even the most basic medical care. These hospitals serve around 1600 patients daily. Throughout the year, these hospitals also hold various free medical camps – cataract surgeries, blood donation and heart check-up, etc.

 

 

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has also established a primary school, an inter-college and a degree college, which provides free education to around 4000 girls from rural areas in and around Kunda, District Pratapgarh. All necessities are provided to the girls including uniforms, school bags, stationeries, etc.

In addition, JKP holds several Free Distribution Programmes throughout the year in poverty stricken areas in North India. In the last one year, JKP has distributed free jackets, blankets, stationeries, etc to tens of thousands of poor and the underprivileged.
