Popular ‘Ram Leela’ back on stage after Yogi Adityanath’s intervention

Ayodhya: After the intervention of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the popular ‘Ram Leela’ is back on stage at the Ayodhya Research Centre today after a long pause of 17 months.

 

 

The daily routine shows of the epic Ram Leela’s show “Prithvi Pukar Narad Moh” in Ayodhya has started again after a long gap which was started by former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav on May 20th, 2004.

The shows were stopped abruptly during the regime of his son and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on November 24, 2015 after the state’s Culture department refused to grant aid for the same.

 

After Adityanath intervention Ram Leela resumes in Ayodhya

 

The department has ordered to restart the shows after sanctioning a handsome budget for the dramatic enactment of the life and time of Lord Rama after the intervention of present Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.

 

 

“Today we started the first show of Ram Leela, and now we hope that the shows will run continuously without any hurdles.”

The assistant manager of Ayodhya Research Centre, Ram Teerath told media persons, We have received all official orders from the Culture department.”
