Bhopal: Near about eight persons were injured when a blast occurred on a Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train in Madhya Pradesh today.

 

 

Railway Ministry spokesperson, Anil Saxena told media persons, “At least eight passengers got injured when a blast which seemed to be of a low intensity and security agencies are looking into the matter. We will also examine if there is any terror angle to the incident.”

 

Blast left eight injured in Ujjain-bound passenger train

 

According to officials, the blast took place in the second coach of the train which is behind the engine at around 9.50 a.m. when the train was travelling between Jabri and Kalapipal stations, in Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh.

All the three passengers were taken to the hospital at the Kalapipal Station, later they were discharged after treatment.
