Two detained for rape at Infosys’s Pune Campus

Pune : Two contract workers of technology giant Infosys have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a 25-year old woman in the campus.

It is reported that the detained waiters of Infosys canteen raped the woman in the restroom while the other filmed it on a mobile phone.
The accused allegedly threatened the victim that they would make the clip public if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
Sources told that they have been identified as Paritosh Subhas Baug (21) from West Bengal, and Prakash Kisan Mahadik (30), hailing from Raigad.

On Monday, the victim reached the Hinjewadi police station and lodged the complaint, following which an FIR was lodged.
Both the accused have been booked under the sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. They will be produced before a local court this afternoon.
