New Delhi: Making a scorning attack on BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre and Rashtriya Swayam Sevak, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today said that RSS workers stopped him from entering a temple in Assam.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was in Barpeta for a padyatra, said that the RSS people stopped me from entering the temple. Who are they to stop me from entering a temple.
He added that, “They put women in front of me so that I couldn’t enter temple, this is how the BJP operates.”
The incident took place at the Barpeta Satra in Assam during his two day visit to Assam from December 11-12.
Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi said that he would launch an inquiry into the issue and find out who was responsible.
