The government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to provide free tablet computers to some students who will be selected under Abhyuday scheme. The decision has been taken by the state government to provide ease of attending online classes from home.

The free tablet computers will only be provided to students who have been selected in the coaching classes under the Abhyuday scheme. The tablets will be provided to those students who cannot afford to attend online classes due to the lack of resources.

Under the Uttar Pradesh Abhyuday scheme, students will be able to seek free coaching to students who are hoping to qualify for various competitive examinations like JEE, NEET, UPSC, NDA, and CDS. The coaching will be provided both online and offline.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the UP Abhyuday scheme on February 15, 2021, for students who cannot afford expensive coaching classes. The online classes for the same were started on February 16, 2021.

Online classes for Uttar Pradesh students

The government of Uttar Pradesh decided to come up with the idea of free coaching classes in the state after many students were stranded in Kota during the Covid-19 pandemic. The government came up with the Abhuyaday scheme so that students won’t have to migrate to other states for studies.

During the inauguration of the scheme, CM Yogi said, “I want to ensure everyone that these classes will help them achieve their goals. In 2020, the scheme was not only appreciated but a special package was also announced in the Union Budget.”
