US former President’s first impeachment trial begins

The impeachment trial against former US President Donald Trump has begun. However, as far as its results are concerned, it can go in favor of quite a few Republicans. Voting to begin the first impeachment trial in the Senate on Tuesday took 44 votes against 56, which Trump’s lawyer rejected. Democrats believe that Trump will be disqualified for the future after this process. After which he will never be able to hold any public post again. But the matter which came may have to wait a long time for this.

During Tuesday’s voting, six Republican lawmakers voted in favor of Trump’s first impeachment trial against Trump.  Trump will need a two-thirds majority to get any kind of punishment.

Democrats are exposing the video as a solid basis for impeachment against former President Trump, in which Trump asked his supporters to unite against the results that came after the November 3 presidential election.

In the video, Trump supporters are seen attacking security personnel and committing violence in the capitol building. During the violence in the Capitol Building, many MPs were so scared that they hid away.

After showing this video clip, Democrat MP Jamie Ruskin, taking sarcasm at Republican lawmakers, said that if all this does not form the basis of impeachment then there is nothing. Jamie is one of the nine members who are handling the case.

This is for the second time impeachment is being conducted above Trump. He is represented here by lawyers Bruce L. Castor and David Scone. He has also filed a trial brief in this regard, in which he has termed the process of impeachment as wrong and has given the speech given by him as his right. Let me tell you that on 6 January he addressed his supporters. After this, his supporters entered the Capitol building and created violent violence, in which five people were killed and many others were injured.
