Flood havoc in 893 villages of 17 districts in Uttar Pradesh, CM Adityanath Yogi takes big step

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the flood affected districts to use the services of the Volunteers of the Provincial Guard Team, Home Guards, Youth Mangal Dal etc. in flood management and relief operations.

Under the direction of CM Yogi, livestock security is being ensured in flood affected areas. So far 475 animal camps have been established while 6,99,396 animals have been vaccinated. 4,591 quintal husk has also been distributed for livestock.

893 villages of 17 districts (Ambedkar Nagar, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Ballia, Barabanki, Basti, Deoria, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Kasganj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Kushinagar, Mau, Shahjahanpur and Sitapur) are affected by the floods.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions for relief and rescue work in flood affected areas to help people in flood affected areas. At present, 29 teams including 12 teams of NDRFHQ and 17 teams of SDRF and PAC are operational.
