Ramveer Upadhyay, a BSP MLA and once close to Mayawati, met CM Yogi, can join BJP

Ramvir Upadhyay, a BSP MLA from Hathras’ Sadabad seat and once close to Mayawati, has met CM Yogi.

It is being told that he can join the BJP soon. Mukul Upadhyay, brother of Ramvir Upadhyay and former MLA, has already joined BJP.

Since then, Ramveer has been neglected in the BSP for a long time. In such a situation, it is being speculated that he too can stop the elephant ride and hold the lotus.

A colleague of Upadhyay confirmed the meeting on Sunday, saying that Ramvir Upadhyay had met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday at his government residence.

Meanwhile, BSP national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra said that Upadhyay had become an MLA from the BSP ticket in the year 2017 but he sided with the contestants in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The party suspended him from the party at the same time. He said that Upadhyay’s son is not a member of BSP.

If he joins BJP then it will not make any difference to BSP. The BSP is moving ahead strongly.
