The health of two dozen inmates in the district jail of Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh, has been stirred due to deteriorating health simultaneously.

The condition of the prisoners has worsened due to eating the wrong medicine.

Prisoners have stiff arms, legs and are unable to do any work. The prisoners are beginning to faint and fall into the barracks.

The jail staff informed the authorities, the prisoners have been shifted to the prison hospital.

Now there is an improvement in health due to prisoners getting treatment. Prison officials found in the investigation that the inmates had deteriorated due to the wrong drug reaction.

Jail Superintendent Ashish Tiwari said that on Tuesday morning, the health of the prisoners worsened due to the wrong medicine.

He told that Kinti Allergy Citrogen was to be given but the pharmacist replaced him with Hello Peridol.

The prisoners started feeling heavy due to wrong medication. The jail administration has given notice to the convicted pharmacist Ashish Verma for this negligence and sought a response to clarify the situation.
