For better road safety rules, Uttar Pradesh on Friday issued an order to impose a penalty of Rs 10,000 for using mobile phones while driving.

The Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh passed the order based on the notification issued by the state transport department on Thursday.
