Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has given a controversial statement regarding Lord Ram. He has said that Lord Shri Ram is Nepali and the real Ayodhya is in Nepal and not in India.

Oli’s claim has been strongly objected by Kamal Thapa, the leader of the National Prajatantra Party in Nepal and former Deputy Prime Minister. He tweeted, “It is not appropriate for any Prime Minister to make such baseless and unproven statement.

It seems that PM Oli wants to further deteriorate relations between India and Nepal, while he should work to reduce tensions.

Oli’s resignation is being called for anti-India comments and style of functioning. KP Oli had also made a statement earlier that a conspiracy was being carried out against him in New Delhi.

After his statement, the people of the government questioned his statement. Oli has also expressed fears that his and President Vidya Devi Bhandari’s life is in danger.
