Now no Pakistan flights will go to Europe. The European Union has banned the government airline company of Pakistan for 6 months.

Although the PIA may appeal against these decisions of the European Union, the airlines said that efforts are being made to address the concerns of EASA. Steps such as appealing against the verdict can also be taken.

The decision has been taken by the European Union Air Safety Agency on the basis of reports that the licenses of Pakistani pilots were fake, the EU imposed the ban following a statement by Pakistan’s aviation minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, in which he said that a third of PIA pilots Holds fake licenses.

He also said that at least three recent air accidents have occurred due to the negligence of the pilots, including the incident on 22 May.

The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) last week denied 150 pilots with ‘suspicious licenses’ to work. Pakistan’s aviation minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan has also said in Parliament that 40 per cent of the pilots’ licenses were fake.

The aviation minister said that private airline companies have been instructed not to allow pilots with fake licenses to fly planes.
