Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Corona crisis caused many problems, but it has also given us a message. The Corona crisis taught us that now we have to become self-sufficient, it is difficult to cope with such crises without becoming self-sufficient. Today the changed circumstances remind us to be self-sufficient, gram panchayats have a strong role in them. This will also strengthen democracy.
PM Modi said that 5-6 years ago only 100 panchayats of the country were connected with broadband, but today this facility has reached 1.25 lakh panchayats.
The Prime Minister said that through the website which has been started, it will be faster to reach information and help to the village. Now the village mapping will be done through drone, while online loan from the bank will also help.
