Udaipur:A 77-feet long cake will be cut in Udaipur on Friday on the occasion of Amitabh Bachchan’s 77th birthday, said Mukesh Madhwani, chairperson, Udaipur Filmcity Sangharsh Samiti who has been struggling hard to establish a film city here.
Since last many years, he has been inviting thousands of fans to Ashoka Bakery where they all gather and cut the cake to celebrate the Big B’s birthday.
“This time, the occasion becomes special as Bachchan has recently been awarded with prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award, he said.
Big B is one actor who has reinvented himself with time, and can still give any newcomer a run for their money. In the last five decades, he has earned the love and respect of million of fans. Such has been his fan base that birthday wishes started pouring in even a day before his special day.
Fans from across the globe have been sending love and good wishes on Big B’s 77th birthday. And the Paa actor took to social media to thank his fans for their love and support.

Big B took to his blog to share his feelings about his birthday. “As you sit in the silence of the late hour , in the solitude desired, in the moment of the working of that which never has, it brings wonder and an emptiness which finds itself in a difficult trance to compile words expressions which could perhaps give value, expected value, to them that reach out as Ef followers,” he wrote.
