Nitin Gadkari’s flight aborted due to technical fault

Nagpur: Nagpur-Delhi Indigo flight was aborted just before take-off on Tuesday due to technical fault in the airplane. Nitin Gadkari, the Road and Transport minister was in the flight which was aborted. The technical fault was just informed to the pilot before taking-off because of which a serious accident was prevented.

The IndiGo flight 6E 636 from Nagpur to Delhi was moments from take-off when the pilot was alerted about an error. The pilot aborted take-off and the plane returned from the runway to the taxiway. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was among the passengers on an IndiGo flight that did not take-off this morning because of a “serious error” detected by the pilot.

Passengers are currently in the Nagpur airport and waiting for their next flight to come. Indigo had said that the pilot decided to return the aircraft to Mumbai due to an “indication error”. The A320 plane was carrying around 143 passengers. The incident happened on 13th August, Tuesday morning. It took approximately 1 hour for the whole incident to take place. All passengers are reported safe.
