Pranaam REVIEW: ‘Pranaam’ in theaters now with a strong story and action

 The films in the eighties were all about revenge and drama, where Hero turned Villain has always been successful in ruling Bollywood. But this theme remained untouched in films for the last several years. If you have not seen a classy film in a long time, then Pranaam Directed by Sanjiv Jaiswal is definitely treat to your eyes.

Film Pranaam is out in theaters now and is highly appreciated and loved by the audience. In the story, Ajay Singh (Rajeev Khandelwal) is preparing to become an IAS officer. His father Dinanath (SM Zaheer) works as a peon, but part time he also works at the hotel, so that he can provide his son a proper education. Manjari Shukla (Sameksha Singh) who belong to a very rich family, is a friend and also a classmate of Ajay, falls in love with him.

But in the city, mafias are ruling at the peak. The well-known gangster of the city Ganu Bhaiya (Abhimanyu Singh) along with politics became stronger. On the gunpoint they get the paper leaked and in this they implicate honest university professor Tej Pratap Singh (Vikram Gokhale). But later Ganu Bhaiya is killed by Ajay Singh in the process of saving Tej Pratap Singh’s daughter from Gunu Bhaiya’s goons.

Later on, the entire issue is investigated by the corrupt investigative officer Raj Pal Singh (Atul Kulkarni). In this investigation, he not only claims Ajay for killing but also for the paper leak. After all this Ajay is all surrounded by troubles, in order to take revenge he ends up turning a gangster leaving behind the dream of Becoming an IAS.

 

Direction

Undoubtedly, director Sanjiv Jaiswal has did a great job in giving Pranaam full feel of films made in the eighties. Every scene of the film will show the story of love, goals, struggle, compromise and revenge. The music of the film is really good, and are presented very well on screen.

Acting of the actors

Rajiv Khandelwal has done justice to the character of (Ajay Singh) with his brilliant acting. He has done well in the film as a gangster as well as a student. Sameksha singh as Manjari is just like cherry on the cake.  In the film, actors like Abhimanyu Singh, Atul Kulkarni, Vikram Gokhale, SM Zaheer and Anirudh Dave are quite stable and have played their characters beautifully.

Why watch the movie

If you haven’t seen a classic movie in a long time, then you definitely watch Pranaam. The film will look good. Pranaam is surely watchable one packed with all the action and drama.
