Indian Army asks Pak to take back bodies of 5 intruders

New Delhi:  The Indian Army has offered the Pakistan Army to take back the dead bodies of intruders killed during a failed infiltration bid by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistan Army has been offered to approach with a white flag and take over the dead bodies for last rites, but was yet to respond on Sunday morning.

Pak Army has not yet responded to the Indian Army’s offer to retrieve army personnel or Border Action Team terrorists that are lying near Line of Control in Keran Sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district since last evening.

Indian Army last evening offered to Pakistan Army to retrieve the bodies of their personnel in Keran Sector for last rites and there was no response to the offer till now.

Indian Army said that it foiled an attack by Pakistan’s Border Action Team on a forward post along the LoC in Keran Sector, killing at least five to seven intruders comprising of Pakistani regulars and terrorists.

Reacting to the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP Spokesperson Shahnawaz Husain said that the people of J&K need not panic as the Government is concerned about the developments there and so paramilitary forces have been sent there. He added that people should not pay heed to rumours spread by Congress and PDP.
