Taxi strike in Kolkata hits commuters.

Kolkata again suffered the inconvenience due to taxi strike. It started at the moment when an Ola cab driver arrived at the gate of Chittranjan Seva Sadan around 11:35 am on Tuesday. The two passengers Partha Sen and Mohammad Sajid have argued for the same cab. Both claimed that they had booked the cab. But the Ola driver refused to ride any of them. Both the guys, Sajid and Sen started arguing on who will take the auto. Apparently fearing the assault the cab driver drove away.

This incident has caused extreme Inconvenience to the people of city.  The app cabs have become a very important part of travelling in many cities. Cabs off the streets, especially during peak hours have affected people.  This scarcity has turned worse when yellow taxi drivers also decided not to ply, reportedly in protest against police atrocity

Commuters in Kolkata had a harrying time for the second day at a stretch on Tuesday as yellow taxis went off the road, joining the online cabs which had called a 48-hour strike to press for a host of demands.
