Odhisha class 10th, 12 results declare with 3 lakh students clear exam

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Board of secondary education today declared its High school certificate (HSC) examination result along with Board of Secondary Education (BSC) in which girls like always outshines boys.

The results were about to declare on 14th May but it was delayed due to occurrence of cyclone Fani that hit in state on May 3rd.

This year 523000 candidates appeared in 10th board examination.

About 3 lakh students passed Board examination’s High School Certificate whose results were out on Tuesday.

Even this time girls continue to maintain their position by scoring higher percentage than boys in BSE HSC exam.

Announcement of result took place in BSE headquarters in Cuttack. “This time passing percentage is 70.78 percent which is less than previous year as it was 76.23 percent last year,” said Pradipta Mohapatra secretary of school and mass education.

 

About 3 lakh students passed Odhisha Board examination results:

 

Out of 5,87,720 students 3,97,125 passed board examination(1,91,655 boys, 2,05,470 girls).

According to data exams took place in 2953 centers from February 22 to March 8.

72.35 percent of Regular and37.43 percentage of ex-regular passed.

In 2019 BSC HSC exam, results of 82 schools were nil and 289 schools gained 100 percent results.

Jharsuguda district scored highest 85.48 percent while Koraput district scored lowest 50.61 percent.

This year passed percentage of Madhyama examination is 84.62 percent. Out of 3563 students about 3015 students cleared exam.
