Srinagar: At-least 18 Indian army CRPF soldiers were killed today after terrorists blow-off IED on a convoy movement and it is expected that casualties to grow more as near about 35 jawans were there in the vehicle.
Eighteen CRPF jawans were martyred on Thursday after an IED blast by terrorists struck a bus in Goripora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the incident, officials said. The casualties are likely to go up.
According to news agency, two buses of the CRPF convoy were targeted. Gunshots were also heard after the IED blast.

Several people were injured in the IED blast, which reduced the bus to a mangled heap of iron. The exact number of the injured was not yet known.
The bus was blown up by an IED explosion on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Awantipora area of the district, a police official said.
This terror attack is considered to be worst after Uri incident after which Indian army conducted Surgical Strike. Soon after the incident whole area has been cordon off.
This incident of terror attack was taken place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
