Lucknow: To give an example of women’s empowerment in India, pictures of many courageous women belonged to different fields comes in our mind automatically who were exposed to us but in the same way a diligent woman named Kalindi Nirmal Sharma who is stubborn, brave, fearless and whose courage has led to the decline of the world’s highest motorway Leh-Ladakh’s Kardumbala.
This woman Kalindi Sharma who is born in Bindwaliya village from Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district, became the first woman passenger bicycle to reach the world’s tallest motorway, Kharudla (18,380 feet), her name was recorded in the Limca Book of Records to go cycling on the impossible-looking places as women’s cyclist traveller.
Briefing about the pictures of her success, Bicycle traveller Kalindi Nirmal Sharma explains, “The courage to go cycling on the difficult paths of the world gave me the courage of my Guru, Ranjit Bachchan. We accompanied him on 4th February 2002 on a bicycle trip to India and returned home on December 18, 2009. ”
She further mentioned that our India journey lasted for seven years 10 months and 13 days, due to which the place was also given in the Limca Book of Records. During this visit, we were honored by Governor, Chief Ministers, Chief Secretaries and more than 600 collectors of 28 states.
Beside this, Kalindi helped people by paying homage for 15 days in the horrific earthquake in Kutch district of Gujarat. She is delivering her services to the poorer sections of society today. With this, Kalindi has been working at a large level in rural development and in villages, to eliminate untouchables, superstitions like Kurishti.
“We have also participated in more than 550 big gathering rallies, national unity programs and goodwill brother fodder programs at 12,600 locations across India. After completing the visit to India and Bhutan, the then President of India Pratibha Devi Singh Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, he was honored, and besides this Narendra Modi also congratulated us on the completion of cycle travel. ”

After completing the visit of Kalindi Nirmal Sharma to India, several newspapers brought the story of their success to prominence in front of the people. Kalindi is working to bring India’s culture along with social services to India and abroad.

During the visit to India, Kalindi got the opportunity to visit different parts of India, that is why he has closely watched the culture and rituals of India. Today, Kalindi is working on a large scale to bring people closer to Indian culture.
Kalindi is currently organizing the Indian Culture Festival – 2018 program which will take place from 8th June to 14th June at Indira Gandhi Foundation at Gomtinagar in Lucknow.
In this program, 37 other topics such as women’s empowerment, religion, education, caste, diplomacy and army will be discussed in detail along with the culture of India.
The chief guest will be Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik along with many other dignitaries from all over the country will be present during this event.
