Lucknow: Former Congress MLA Vinay Pradhan of Meerut, who allegedly called Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi as a ‘Pappu’ in the Whatsapp message, announced that he will soon launch a campaign to make the country ‘Pappu Free India’.
Interestingly, this campaign is more or less similar to the BJP’s ‘Congress free India’.
Earlier in a press conference on Wednesday, he said that some people are dreaming of Congress free India in the country due to some people doing buttering between Rahul Gandhi and them.
Former Congress MLA Vinay Pradhan to launch ‘Pappu Free India’ campaign:
With the announcement of his resignation, he said, “If a person does not understand his appreciation then he is indeed to be called as ‘Pappu’ and I have no regrets to say such thing to him.”
It is notable that Vinay Pradhan had recently called Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi as ‘Pappu’ on the Whatsapp Group.
After this episode, Pradhan was removed from other posts including Congress President of Meerut city.
