Mumbai: After a long stay in New York for the treatment of a medical condition, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is finally back home after 11 months and 11 days! Accompanied by his wife Neetu Kapoor all this while, the actor landed in Mumbai on Sunday. He sported a cool navy blue shirt with a pair of jeans and blue sneakers. Meanwhile, Neetu was seen donning a black blazer style shrug over a black top.
After his return to his homeland, the actor took to Twitter to share his happiness and thank all those who stood by him. “BACK HOME!!!!!! 11 Months 11days! Thank you all!” the actor wrote.

As soon as Rishi Kapoor expressed his happiness on social media, actor Farhan Akhtar replied saying “Welcome back.”

It wasn’t just B-Town stars who welcomed the veteran actor on his return to India. Rishi Kapoor’s fans also shared their excitement over his homecoming.

On Instagram, Neetu Kapoor revealed the cute surprise that Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had in store for Rishi Kapoor on his return. Sharing a picture of a balloon with “Welcome home Dad” written on it, Neetu Kapoor wrote, “This simple balloon has so much Warmth Love and belonging .”
It was in September last year that Rishi Kapoor left for the US along with wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor for cancer treatment. During his dad’s 11-month-long treatment, Ranbir Kapoor often visited his parents in the US. In fact, his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, too, accompanied him a handful of times.
