The most awaited performing arts festival is back in the city of Lucknow with Season 9. Repertwahr invites you to join in the celebrations at UP Sangeet Natak Academy, Lucknow from 20th to 24th December, 2018.
One of the biggest and the most unique celebration of performing arts in the famed city of Lucknow have been working towards promoting performing arts by combining different art forms on a single platform from the past 8 years.
With each passing season Repertwahr has got bigger and better. In Season 9, they aim to outshine themselves, yet again. This year they are back with the campaign tag line #LucknowBulaRahaHai which invites one and all to be connected with the city during the month of December and witness the festivities.
The five days, 20 exhilarating shows and more than a 150 artists from across the country are headed to one destination this December-The Repertwahr Festival Season 9! The perfect blend of Theatre, Music and Stand-up Comedy. For five days, Lucknow will host some of the most celebrated names in theatre, music and stand-up comedy.

In the ninth edition Repertwahr plans to make a mark with well-known plays like Jab Khuli Kitab, Gazab Kahani, Shikhandi, Item and Hello Farmaish. For stand-up comedy, top talents like Gaurav Kapoor, Rahul Subramanian, Abhijit Ganguly and Manik Mahna will be gracing the stage with their presence.
The city is now ready to welcome the rising stars of the digital age. The heart soothing musical section this year includes Raghu Dixit, Anand Bhaskar, Madboy/Mink, Alif and Dualist Inquiry.
Another attraction this year will be, comedian Gaurav Kapoor who will moderate the “Meet The Cast” sessions at the festival. Stand-up Comedian Gaurav Kapoor will be hosting this lighthearted session which will take the audience to the world of the creative processes behind the amazing on-stage presentations.
There is a thin line that separates laughter, pain, comedy and tragedy and Repertwahr Season 9 aims to string all chords. The colourful, creative ambience, the tasteful, artistic presentations and a charming setup will make sure that Repertwahr remains an unforgettable experience for all.
