Raipur: A worker of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chhattisgarh state capital have recently filed a complaint against the Congress party for posting a photograph of the map of India without Kashmir on Chhattisgarh Congress’ Twitter handle.
The SHO of Civil Lines area in Raipur, Yadumani Sidar, told media persons that, “A case has been registered under certain sections of the cybercrime and further investigation is underway,” However, the Congress party in the state has said that there was a “printing mistake” in the image.
“There was a printing mistake in the picture. This happened while it was being compressed. An apology was rendered and picture was immediately removed from the Chhattisgarh Congress’ Twitter handle because the party stands for integrity of the nation.”
A spokesperson from Chhattisgarh Congress’ Jayavardhan Birsa told journalist that Chhattisgarh is all set to go for polls in two phases- November 12 and 20. Counting of votes will be done on December 11.
Congress leader shares map of India without Kashmir in poll-bound state, noticed by BJP worker:
Condemning the incident of using distorted map of India in the Twitter handle of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee, Bharatiya Janata Party state president Dharamlal Kaushik sought stern action.
Kaushik said that Congress party which has divided the country is still keeping its ideology alive and the live example is the distorted Map of India used in the official Twitter handle. One part of Kashmir has been removed. He termed it is a criminal act and purely falls under sedition.
He alleged that the fire of division is spreading from Kashmir to JNU and other areas of country due to which anti-national slogans are being raised. It is due to policy of appeasement being followed by the oldest party of country. The AICC president has also been backing such elements, he said.
