We have always heard that a person is born without eye, hands, legs, and ears but new case was found in Brazil where a girl was born without vagina. Unbelievable!The 23-year-old Jucilene Marinho, from Brazil has finally had sex for the first time, after becoming one of the first women in the world to have the pioneering operation. She was born without a vagina and had a new one created by using fish skin.
She got to know about this when she was 15 years old. As surprising, she developed normally throughout puberty, and even experienced period pains yet never had a period.She suffered from Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH), a rare congenital disorder that affects approximately one in 5,000 newborn girls which results in the absence of some or all of the female reproductive organs.
She became the first person to receive a neovaginoplasty, in which doctors artificially created an opening and inserted a genital-shaped mould lined with the skin of the tilapia fish. Medics opened a space between her vagina and anus.
She was told that she will never be able to conceive children and she would also be never able to have sex. But, now after this surgery she had sex for the first time with her partner Marcus Santos, 24, who she has been with for over a year and who has supported her throughout.
She said happily, “At first I was very scared to do it because I thought it would hurt and I was worried it might damage the opening. But it was a wonderful moment because everything worked perfectly. There was no pain just a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction”.
